Monster X Tour: So give us some history on Brad Keller.
Brad Keller: I was born in Doylestown, PA and spent ten years working in the family business of Diesel Mechanics. I’ve been infatuated with lifted trucks my whole life and I’ve had two of them so far even though they are a bit of a headache, but I love them. Love to hunt, ride snowmobiles and four wheelers. I’ve been riding since I was a kid and still try to get out and play as much as I can whenever and wherever I can.
Q&A with Brad Keller:
Monster X Tour: How did you get started competing in Monster Truck racing?
Brad Keller: It’s all Kevin Post’s fault. It started with me going to pick up truck shows (Show and Shines) and then Kevin started taking me to monster truck shows which led me to meet Bill Payne after Hurricane Sandy hit and Kevin and I went out to give a helping hand. By the end of the weekend I was offered a job with Straight Up Racing and here I am.
Monster X Tour: What do you enjoy doing while on the road the most?
Brad Keller: Meeting new people and seeing places I have never seen before
Monster X Tour: What do you do with your free time?
Brad Keller: I go to Show and Shines with my personal truck. Go snowmobiling, four wheeling and hunting every chance I get. Like sitting around a bonfire after a good day of riding. LOVE to eat.
Monster X Tour: What is your greatest memory as a Monster Truck driver?
Brad Keller: The greatest memory I have currently is not of me being a driver, but of Ed Miller getting pulled over by a Policeman in Kentucky while driving Reverse Racer down the street.
Monster X Tour: Do you have any pre-show rituals that you run though?
Brad Keller: I just sit in the truck and relax and try to zone out.
Monster X Tour: If you were not competing on the Monster X Tour, what career path would you follow?
Brad Keller: Building trucks.
